A little about me

I am a BACP Registered Member. My work is shaped by professional training and many years supporting people through body-based therapies, hospice care, community work and women’s groups.

These experiences, deepened my understanding of the many ways life can affect us, and the importance of feeling genuinely heard, understood and accepted. Nature has also been an important influence throughout my life and continues to inform my understanding of connection and wellbeing.

I believe healing is not about fixing who you are, but about understanding your story, reconnecting with yourself and discovering what may support you in moving forward. My role is to work alongside you with warmth and compassion, creating a space where you can explore your experiences without judgement and at a pace that feels right for you.

My work is informed by an ongoing interest in trauma, the nervous system and the connection between mind and body. As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of approaches and adapt our work to your individual needs.

I work with people experiencing:

Trauma and complex trauma
Abuse and its lasting impact
Anxiety, stress and nervous system dysregulation

Women's health, including menopause and infertility

Identity, sexual identity, sexuality and LGBTQ+ experiences

Life transitions and personal growth
Bereavement, grief and loss
Low self-esteem and self-worth
Health-related challenges, including cancer
Spirituality, meaning and personal exploration
